CYSAT will take place as a satellite event during the CBC in Toulouse. The entire morning will be dedicated to panels, keynotes, and an interactive workshop session, bringing together leading experts in space, cybersecurity, and innovation.

Satellite communications are used by millions of people every day. From television broadcasts to internet services, satellites bring connectivity beyond the reach of wired infrastructure.
In this workshop, we’ll explore the underlying principles of satellite radio communications – touching on topics such as jamming, spoofing and interception. We’ll dig deep into one of the most popular satellite communications protocols – DVB-S – and show how anyone with inexpensive radio equipment and freely available software can tap into these satellite feeds.
This workshop is designed to be accessible to anyone and does not presume prior familiarity with radio communications, aerospace engineering, or computer programming. General familiarity with the linux command line will be useful, but all steps will be explained in detail.
