Corrections Policy

CYSAT News is committed to accuracy. When we make a factual error, we correct it as quickly as possible.

How we handle corrections

• Minor corrections (typos, small factual details that don't change the substance of a story) are fixed directly in the article without a separate notice.
• Substantive corrections (errors that affect the meaning or accuracy of a key fact) are fixed in the article text, and a short correction note is added at the end of the piece stating what was changed and when.
• If an article is found to rely on source reporting that is later retracted or significantly updated, we will update or annotate the piece to reflect that.
